Our Steps Towards Lowering Emissions

Committed to continuously minimizing our environmental footprint through ongoing learning, we select suppliers based on their exceptional product quality, ethical manufacturing practices, and ability to quickly deliver orders worldwide with minimal environmental impact.

Each product you see in our store is crafted when ordered – once you place an order, we produce it specifically for you. Production time is 2–5 business days across all techniques. In most cases, orders are shipped within 3 business days or less. This allows us to avoid overproduction and textile waste, and we’re continuously working toward greener production.

Our products are printed using the direct-to-garment (DTG) technique, a method where ink is sprayed directly onto the garment and then soaks into the fabric. It’s like printing on paper—just on clothing. We use Kornit printers and NeoPigment inks, which are Oeko-Tex™ certified, generate almost zero wastewater, and consume less energy than standard industry printers, reducing our carbon footprint.
For posters, we use Epson UltraChrome GS3 ink, which is also GREENGUARD Gold certified.

At Ocean Path, all apparel products are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers. The amount of PCR in the packaging varies depending on where your order is printed, but it’s at least 50% for the outer (white or gray) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the inner (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments. PCR packaging is made from everyday items like used plastic bags and bottles. This material protects your order just as well as regular plastic, but choosing PCR over virgin plastic helps reduce plastic’s environmental impact on our planet. (Apparel products fulfilled by our partner facilities may be packaged differently.)

Our fulfillment centers are located around the world, which helps lower shipping costs and reduces emissions by shortening delivery distances.
